Domesticated dinosaur

The exhibition is dedicated to the domestic chicken (Gallus gallus domesticus). The story of this dinosaur begins with an encounter: 3500 years ago, in the forests of Thailand, its wild ancestor, the red junglefowl, crossed paths with the human species (Homo sapiens). Over time, through the process of domestication and selective breeding, humans have shaped the chicken according to their needs and desires. These modifications have altered the evolutionary trajectory of the chicken and have, in turn, influenced human destiny.
